The Pineapple House is dramatically perched on the steep hillside overlooking awe-inspiring sea views across Chaweng bay. Located adjacently to The Rice House and Eden Rock Villa, The Pineapple House shares the same attention to detail, quality of finish, and service as the first two properties, while being completely unique and distinct in design. The villa draws its name from the ancient maritime tradition of sailors’ wives leaving pineapples above the doors of their homes for good luck in the safe return of their husbands. Approached along a scenic walkway covered by a canopy of lush creepers, The Pineapple House is entered through Balinese double wooden gates, which open onto the pool deck. The freeform swimming pool features an infinity edge onto the sea views, and a Jacuzzi with a submerged bench at the far end. The deck is equipped with two large cushioned teak sun-loungers, a bar with leather-upholstered stools, and a teak dining table seating 4-6.

Adjacent to the pool, the upper floor features an open-plan living room with sandstone-clad walls, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table seating 6, and lounge area with satellite TV, DVD, and a powerful Pioneer stereo surround system. Off each side of the living room, ornately carved wooden doors open onto spacious double bedrooms, each featuring romantic hand-carved 4-poster King-size beds with Sealy Posturepaedic mattresses, TV, wardrobe, dressing table, safe, and powerful air-conditioning. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; one with shower, and one with shower and terrazzo tub. All three rooms on the upper floor have sliding glass doors onto the pool deck and sea views, and feature beautiful wood-paneled vaulted ceilings and cool terracotta- tiled floors.

A large third double en-suite bedroom is located on the lower level, which is accessed down a stairway at the far end of the pool deck, and includes a terrace, and stunning uninterrupted sea views. The Pineapple House benefits from absolute privacy, and is an ideal hideaway. All creature comforts are well catered for, with complimentary broadband WiFi internet access, and no escape from the mind-blowing sea views.
