Maleesalan is a spacious 5 bedroom hillside villa overlooking sunset views of the west coast. Designed with traditional Thai-style roofs, the villa is furnished and decorated with an eclectic range of Asian artifacts. Set within a large landscaped garden, Maleesalan is very private, and an ideal hideaway. The villa is constructed on multiple levels, with polished wooden flooring throughout.

The main living area comprises a sprawling lounge, with several seating areas, a large formal dining room, and a fully-fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and satellite TV. The living area opens onto a verandah with covered outdoor furniture overlooking the beautiful sea views and the pool below, which is accessed down a short stairway.

The central focal point of the property is the pool, surrounded by a large sand-wash deck, with sun-loungers and parasols. At opposing sides of the pool, 2 pairs of en-suite bedrooms open onto the deck. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and feature King-size beds, desks, wardrobes, and flat-screen LCD TVs with DVD/CD players. At the front face of the pool deck, a large sala pavilion provides an idyllic dining and wining venue, with superb sea views.

On the top floor, above the living area, the vast master bedroom suite includes a King-size bedroom with vaulted ceiling, opening onto a large private balcony. Satellite TV/DVD is concealed in an armoire. The en-suite bathroom is entered through ornately carved doors, via a dressing room, and features a large walk-in shower, double vanity, and bath-tub set into a marble platform.

The resident villa managers are an experienced English couple, who are on hand to ensure guests’ comfort at the villa. The property is ideal for families, and baby-sitting can be arranged on request.

Located on the northern end of the west coast of Koh Samui, a short drive away from the port town of Nathon, with a wide array of restaurants, shops, and the local market. Fine dining and an excellent spa at The Four Seasons Resort are within 5 minutes drive. Santiburi golf course is some 15 minutes drive away.
