Baan Rattana Thep is a grand beachfront villa, facing the sunset sea views over the white powder sand beach of Lipa Noi. Brightly decorated in an eclectic mix of styles that incorporates oriental artefacts, accent colours, antique furniture, and contemporary designs, Baan Rattana Thep is a sumptuous hideaway that is highly specified and luxurious.

In the dining area within the entrance hall, a large wooden dining table with bench seats is surrounded by colourful ceramic pots and ornate furniture. The adjacent kitchen is separated by sliding dark wood and glass doors. Dark wood floors, doors and frames feature throughout the villa. The fully-equipped kitchen has wooden units with polished black stone worktops. A flat-screen TV is mounted on a wall for viewing from the breakfast bar.

To the right of the dining area are two ground floor bedrooms. At the rear, the twin bedroom has dark polished wooden floors, traditionally styled solid teak beds, and benches on the terrace facing the front garden. Orange and green cushions add colour to the room which is mirrored in the curtain details. The en-suite bathroom has brown mosaic tiles in the shower room.

The front ground floor bedroom has a traditionally styled four-poster bed with pink silk cushions and matching throw. A pink armchair, a gold painted bedside cabinet, a red oriental cabinet, a black wooden desk, and a flat-screen TV complete the bedroom. Through the walk-in dressing area, the en-suite bathroom features twin sinks, a walk-in shower, and a free-standing bathtub. The inner garden has an outdoor shower surrounded by plants and a large sandstone wall carving.

Stairs lead up to two more bedrooms. At the rear is a light and bright twin room with the beds placed on an angle in the corner of the room. The balcony faces the front garden and the en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower with brown mosaic tiles. The master suite at the front includes a four-poster bed, a flat-screen TV, and an antique oriental cabinet. The slate tiled balcony has a modern table set overlooking the garden, pool, and sea. The en-suite bathroom has a sunken bath.

Past the dining area, wide steps lead to the slate-tiled terrace, with two large elephant statues facing a central frangipani tree. To the left, a fifth bedroom pavilion decorated in blue features a traditional teak double bed, an armchair, antique cabinets, and a plasma TV. The en-suite bathroom has a free-standing bathtub, a walk-in shower, and an inner garden with outdoor shower and carved sandstone wall feature.

The open-plan living pavilion is sumptuously furnished with large oriental cabinets, comfortable chairs, sofas, and a large plasma screen TV. The living room opens onto the pool deck, and features vaulted wooden ceilings, and foldaway glass walls. The end of the lounge faces the garden through a traditional sala, with a dining table and bench seats, and the sea beyond.

The blue-tiled swimming pool is flanked by an expansive wooden deck furnished with sun-beds and parasols. A path leads to the beachfront sala pavilion with a kitchen, bathroom and entertainment area, from where steps lead through a Thai-style entrance pagoda with wooden doors that open to the beach.

Located on the West coast of Koh Samui, 10 minutes from the ferry port of Nathon and 35 kms from Samui’s international airport.  Santiburi Championship golf course is 25 minutes drive away. The villa is located within sight of the nearby Raja Ferry pier.

Rates are for the entire villa, with discounts for reduced occupancy as follows:

5 bedroom sleeps 10.

3 bedroom sleeps 6.

-Rates are exclusive of 10% service, and 7% tax.  

-Extra bed charge is $50++ USD per person.

-Rates are inclusive of continental breakfast and in-villa chef service.

-Airport transfers are charged at $50+ USD per trip for up to 7 guests, and subject to 7% tax.
