Ban Suriya, or The Sunshine House in English, sits on the southern end of Lipa Noi beach, with white sand, wonderful Angthong marine park view, and great sunsets. This villa is creatively designed in a contemporary style, with Thai and Asian touches. Built on a generous 2 rai plot of land (3200 sqm), Ban Suriya features established tropical gardens, and expansive beachfront lawn.

The property offers a 19 metre swimming pool, an air-conditioned fitness room with the latest gym equipment, and direct access to the white sand beach via an expansive palm shaded lawn. Ban Suriya features an outdoor movie screen and a beachfront tree house, massage sala, and elevated sunset deck. Bose speakers at the poolside, beachfront, and living areas are connected to an iPod system.

The swimming pool is flanked by a wooden deck and bedrooms on either side, and features a wet-bar. The pool deck is furnished with sun-loungers and parasols, and includes a BBQ. The fitness room is air conditioned and equipped with weights, fit balls, crunch, yoga mats, rowing machine, stepper, bike and boxing. The gym offers direct access to a shower and WC, and opens to the plunge pool deck. There is a dedicated spa treatment room for in-villa spa treatments and massage, as well as al-fresco massage salas.

Ban Suriya has an eclectic mix of modern and retro furnishings, and you are spoilt for choice when considering where to relax at any time of the day. The garden hammock and loungers provide cool places to sit and read in the shade of the coconut palms. The upstairs lounge includes an office area, with iMac and iPod dock, as well as a sun deck furnished with a pool table. There are two additional lounge areas on the ground floor; a sunken den/library, with an underwater window onto the pool, and a glass-walled TV room, which is air-conditioned, and features a large LCD screen, DVD, satellite TV, a huge DVD library, Nintendo Wii, and Sony Playstation. A modern kitchen services a vast, glass-topped square dining table seating 12 at the central dining area, under the high double-vaulted ceiling.

The master bedroom is detached from the main villa and set on the beachfront lawn, featuring an outdoor shower room and direct beach access. The 'kids' bedroom is in a separate building alongside the main house, opens onto the plunge pool deck, and has twin beds with a third roll-out bed, completed with en-suite bath and shower room. The entertainment room joins the kids room and features satellite TV, DVD, board games, table tennis, and a sofa bed, which can accommodate a nanny.

The other four bedrooms are in two separate pavilions, all with en-suite bathrooms. The second master bedroom has great sea views and is supplemented by a lounge area and private access to an outdoor sunken bath.  The adjoining twin bedroom can be converted to a king-size double. The opposite two bedrooms are both large doubles, one with sea views and both with direct access to the pool and Jacuzzi. All of the 6 en-suite bedrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with TV, DVD, iPod speakers, robes, slippers, hair-dryers and individual safes.

There are restaurants and bars within walking distance along the beach, most notably the Nikki Beach Club, a short stroll away. Shopping and dining opportunities are only 10 minutes away in Nathon, Samui’s main town and commercial center.

Located on the West coast of Koh Samui, 10 minutes from the ferry port of Nathon and 35 kms from Samui’s international airport.  Santiburi Championship golf course is 25 minutes drive away.
