Baan Waan is a newly completed villa, set within the exclusive Santi Thani estate, a short drive from Bang Po beach. With uninterrupted sea and lush, tropical jungle views, Baan Waan is extremely private, and an ideal hideaway. Bright and spacious, with sea views from every room, the villa has a large free form pool, with an integrated circular children’s pool.

The villa entrance leads to an open-plan living room, with terracotta flooring, and views onto the pool and garden. The sitting room has a three piece lounge set with coffee table, and a satellite TV with DVD/CD player. Sliding glass doors open onto the balcony, with easy chairs and cafe tables, from where an external spiral staircase leads down to the pool. The dining area has a table comfortably seating six. A breakfast bar with polished granite countertop separates the fully equipped kitchen. The living room is fully air conditioned, with additional ceiling fans, and recessed spot lights.

Past the living room, stairs lead up to the first floor, and down to the pool level. Beyond the stairways, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, features wooden flooring, a private balcony with fantastic views, built-in wardrobes, air conditioning, and ceiling fan, as do the other two bedrooms. Large windows provide views onto the pool, jungle, and sea.

The first floor comprises a children’s bedroom, with bunk beds, and a pull-out bed, and master bedroom. Wooden floors throughout the first floor continue along the hallway to the master bedroom, with beamed, cathedral ceiling, and a mezzanine study. The master bedroom benefits from a large private balcony, with a mosaic-tiled Jacuzzi tub, that comfortably accommodates two, and enjoys great sea views. The mezzanine study area is reached from the hallway, and has a desk with two chairs, overlooking the master bedroom, with sea views beyond, through a large picture window. 

The internal staircase leading to the pool level also provides access to the laundry room and maid's room. Although a resident maid is not provided, the daily maid will also take care of your laundry requirements. The maid's room is a small single bedroom, which has a private bathroom with shower. If required, this room may be used to accommodate a nanny, personal maid, or other staff.

A covered games terrace beyond the maid's room is open-sided, and overlooks the pool. Located under the sitting room, the games room includes a table tennis set, and a full-size pool table. A short staircase leads down to the pool, which is surrounded by a large sand-washed terrace, with loungers and al-fresco dining set.

The large swimming pool is well finished, with granite surround, and submerged granite steps adjacent to the circular children’s pool. Curving waves of the freeform structure add a sculptural effect, and the infinity overflow looks down onto the landscaped garden. The well-established garden features mature cashew trees, bamboos, frangipani, palms, and landscaped lawns. Beyond the borders of the garden is virginal forest, which is overlooked by the raised elevation of the property. Coconut palm gardens cover much of the land in the valley below the house, while in the hills above, a scenic waterfall can be trekked to through the jungle.

Baan Waan is an ideal family holiday home, offering comfort, privacy, and great facilities within a secure, lush tropical surrounding. Santi Thani gym is available for the use of guests at Baan Waan. Smoking inside the house is not permitted.

The villa is located on a hillside, about 5 minutes drive from Bang Por beach, 30 minutes from Chaweng, 15 minutes from Bophut Fisherman’s village, with both Santiburi Golf and Country club, and Nathon town some 10 minutes drive away.
