Baan Puri is a spacious and luxuriously appointed villa, set on Lipa Noi beach on the west coast of Koh Samui. Stylishly designed in contemporary flair with Thai accents, the villa is highly specified and beautifully finished. The capacious Baan Puri is child-friendly and ideal for a beachfront vacation with stunning sunset sea views.

The imposing entrance to Baan Puri features stone pillars flanking pathways on either side of a lily pond. To the right are a double garage and the staff quarters, and to the left is a garden with children’s playground. Past the lily pond, the main two-storey pavilion houses the living room and two bedrooms. The grand open-plan living room includes a lounge furnished with sumptuous sofas, a dining area seating 12, and a fully-equipped kitchen. At the other end of the room is a chilled wine cellar storing up to 400 bottles, running across the width of the room, which serves as a backdrop to a ceiling mounted 100” cinema screen. Hardwood flooring and slide-away glass doors to the front and rear create a light and cool living space, with great views across the patio, pool and sea beyond. The large shaded patio is a comfortable venue for relaxing or al-fresco dining.

A grass lawn separates the patio from the sand-stone pool deck, which is furnished with loungers and parasols. The crystal clear lap pool is entirely chemical free, using the latest ionizing technology and robotic cleaning. The vast 30 metre long blue-tiled infinity pool features submerged sun-beds and a swim-up bar. The pool-side sala pavilion faces the beach, and has a double sided bar, a dining set, sofas, and BBQ. A Sonos music system with Bose speakers completes this idyllic lounging venue.

Baan Puri has 6 spacious en-suite bedrooms, all of which are air-conditioned, and feature vaulted wooden ceilings, dressing areas and built-in wardrobes. The 2 double bedrooms above the living room open onto a large balcony facing the beautiful sea views. Both bedrooms feature open-plan, glass-walled en-suite bathrooms with free-standing terrazzo tubs and rain showers, and are equipped with 50” plasma TV/DVD.

To the left of the main building, a single-storey pavilion houses 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, including twin sinks and indoor and outdoor rain showers. The bedroom facing the rear garden has twin beds and a wall-mounted 42” LCD TV/DVD. The second bedroom has an exquisite teak four-poster bed dressed with white drapes. Sliding glass doors open onto a patio furnished with a circular sofa, and views across the pool and sea beyond.

To the left of the pool are 2 further bedroom pavilions, both of which feature en-suite bathrooms with twin sinks, an indoor shower, and spectacular sunken terrazzo tub at the pool’s edge. A sliding wooden screen can be closed for privacy. The pool-side bedrooms each have teak four-poster double beds, dressed with white drapes. The first bedroom suite includes its own inner garden with a stacked slate waterfall. A cushioned sofa at the foot of the bed overlooks the pool. The adjacent walk-in dressing room has a comfortable sofa, which doubles as a large bed suitable for 2 young children. The beachfront bedroom suite opens onto a patio with circular daybed, and overlooks the white sandy beach. 

The grounds have been planted with over 100 indigenous species of tropical plants chosen for their beauty and fragrance, including exotic night-scented varieties.  Flowers are cut from the garden each day, and the chef can prepare your food using freshly picked herbs. At night the grounds are illuminated for a scenic dining or party experience. The beach at Lipa Noi is one of the finest on the island with soft white sand, good swimming conditions, outstanding views of the famous Five Islands, Angthong Marine Park, and across to the mainland, and is ideally positioned for Samui’s stunning sunsets.
