Baan Mika is a luxuriously appointed and generously proportioned beach house, conveniently located on the north-east coast, within a short drive of the island’s main attractions. Asian-inspired décor and rustic natural materials combine with modern comforts and technology to realise beachfront living at its best.

Gated and surrounded by an ancient-style wall, Baan Mika is designed around a centre piece pool that cascades through the inner courtyard to the beach. The pool is framed in sandstone, flanked by grass lawn, and includes a lap pool flowing into a kids pool, ending in a large beachfront Jacuzzi.

The villa comprises multiple air-conditioned pavilions with cedar shingle roofs and vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring and large wooden-framed glass doors throughout. Double wooden doors open onto a raised patio overlooking the pool and sea beyond, with the main living areas on either side. The living room includes a lounge area facing the inner courtyard, a TV area with a sumptuous sofa facing a wall-mounted LCD screen with Bose surround sound system, and a study corner. Opposite the living room, the dining pavilion features a large dining table seating 12, and an open-plan kitchen.

The six en-suite double bedrooms are arranged on either side of the pool. The first opposing sleeping pavilions each include two inter-connected bedrooms with wall-mounted TV, double beds, sofas, en-suite bathrooms, and outdoor showers and tubs. The two master bedrooms are located in separate pavilions, and each includes a double bed, comfortable seating area, and ceiling mounted flat screen TV. Heavy sliding wooden doors open to the en-suite bathroom, with twin sinks and a large terrazzo tub overlooking the sea views.

At the beachfront are two thatched sala pavilions on either side of the Jacuzzi, separated by a grass lawn with sun-loungers and parasols. One of the open-sided sala pavilions is a casual lounging area, with sofas and chairs overlooking the beach. The second sala is equipped with a kitchen, BBQ area, al-fresco dining set, and bar.

The property is served by a dedicated team of staff, including a villa manager, Thai chef, and maids, who are available to cater to your every whim throughout your stay. Complimentary WiFi broadband internet connection is included.
