Akuvara is named after the Sanskrit for The Sea. This contemporarily designed beachfront villa offers a chic and stylish seaside living environment. Highly specified, the villa features modern furnishing combined with natural materials. Overlooking sunset sea views across the powder white sands of Lipa Noi beach on Samui’s west coast, Akuvara is child-friendly, fully air-conditioned, and an ideal holiday home.

Akuvara’s expansive pool deck is the perfect size for entertaining, al-fresco dining, and lounging in the sun, and is furnished with sun-beds, parasols, and a dining set. The large blue-tiled swimming pool runs parallel to the beach, across the width of the property. At the right side, a private gate leads to the beach. On the left of the pool is a stone waterfall feature, with stepping stones leading over the pool to the beachside sala pavilion, which has two large day beds for lounging in the shade.

Adjacent to the pool deck and beach are landscaped gardens and two pavilions. To the left, the master bedroom features a large LCD TV, and an en-suite bathroom with twin basins and a walk-in rain-shower, tiled in mosaic. Through glass doors, a large outdoor terrazzo tub for 2 has sea views, and can be closed off by wooden doors for complete privacy. The master suite opens onto the pool deck and has stunning sea views. 

Akuvara’s main living pavilion includes a lounge and a TV den, both are furnished with comfortable sofas and equipped with LCD TVs. Free wireless broadband ADSL internet access is included, and all the TVs are connected to a media centre with an extensive archive of movies and music. The airy lounge opens onto the pool deck and the al-fresco dining area. Between the two rooms, stairs lead up to the mezzanine viewing deck, with two large comfortable daybeds and slide-away glass doors to a balcony, facing stunning views over the pool, the beach, and seascape beyond. The living pavilion also contains a modern, fully-equipped kitchen.

Behind the living area, a large pavilion runs across the entire width of the property. Separated by a central covered walkway, the pavilion includes a formal dining room to the left, and an en-suite bedroom with twin beds to the right. The bedroom is equipped with a TV/DVD, and opens onto a terrace and grass lawn with sea views.

At the rear of the property is a 2 storey building housing a bedroom suite with a King-size bed, an LCD TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. The suite includes a private kitchen area with all amenities including a breakfast bar, and a wide balcony overlooking sea views. The fourth bedroom suite with King-size bed is located in a detached garden pavilion, and includes a TV/DVD, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in rain shower. In the back garden is another shady sala pavilion, from where a pathway leads to the private gated parking courtyard.

A snorkelling reef is located just 50 metres from the beach directly in front of the villa. In the summer low tide season, the tide can go out almost to the reef, leaving an expanse of white sand exposed, which is ideal for paddling, beach games, and exploring in the shallows in safety for children. Channels for swimming and for sea kayaks to access deep water remain open at low tide.
